I am now seventeen studies in, with the first main one being completed back in February 2017. I’m comfortable with the process I’m using, so, grey-scale first and then colour afterwards, but my issue now is time.

So in an effort to speed up the paintings I decided to take a huge step and skip the grey-scale pass and dive streight into colouring. I am happy to say it went really well, plus this painting took a lot less time to complete.
